🏭 About us

Our mission

Build and invest in technological companies pivoting our production model to a desirable one.

Our story

OSS was founded with a simple bet: go into factories, understand the real problems, and build software that actually works in the field. Six years later, that bet has compounded. We've built 22 companies from scratch, deployed across 3,800+ industrial sites, with 200,000+ daily users and €40M ARR across the portfolio.

Our first cohort — Fabriq,Mercateam, Kraaft, MyC — have done or are entering Series B territory, with one exit expected per year starting now. Two months ago, we closed a €44M fund — our largest to date. Our investors include Decathlon Pulse, Teknor Apex, Tikehau Capital, and Famille Peugeot.

We operate from Paris and Boston, with 5 portfolio companies now generating ~40% of their new ARR from the US market. As far as we know, we're in the top 2.5% of all funds worldwide by performance. We think we have a shot at building a generational institution.

We have the capital, the traction, the team — and a different culture.

Our values

  • Trusting team excellence — Trust is the foundation. We do what we say. We act as one team, not talented individuals. We give honest feedback and expect excellence in return.

  • Fail, learn, succeed — We make bets others won't. We tell truths others avoid. When we fall short — which happens — we treat it as data, not defeat. High risk is a feature, not a flaw.

  • We eat what we kill — Skin in the game. We eat last, hate asymmetry, and only reward results — not busywork. We win when our companies sell. No room for high-certainty seekers. Extreme ownership.

  • Compound the system — The system is the star. Few people, disproportionate impact. We automate everything, fire ourselves from low-value work, and only hire when unavoidable. Data first. AI first. Shared systems over individual ownership. Ego takes a backseat.

  • Build something the world needs — We're builders, not talkers. We define new standards, not follow existing ones. 200,000+ people use what we've built daily. Financial reward follows impact.

  • Think and do it quick — Speed wins. Good decisions made fast beat perfect decisions made late. We value thinkers who do and doers who think. Same person, not separate roles. Our companies hit €1.5M ARR by year two.

🚀 Why we need you

Our 2026 ambition is to make OSS unmissable — the most trusted voice in our space, present everywhere our audiences are, publishing what only we can publish. Delivering on that means rebuilding our marketing engine around AI agents and shipping content at a pace and quality the market hasn't seen from a venture studio. This role sits right in the middle of that build, and we want someone excited to operate it.

🧠 What you'll work on

In a nutshell — You operate our marketing engine end-to-end (content, campaigns, attribution, events) using AI as your daily collaborator while owning quality, voice and judgement.

Content creation

  • Plan and develop compelling thought leadership and community content in a variety of formats (articles, case studies, social media posts, videos, landing pages) using AI as your daily collaborator

  • Plan, write and ship our newsletters to reach and engage our industrial and founders audiences

  • Nurture our owned communities with always-on engagement and facilitated discussion

  • Keep our website, blog and content hub updated and optimized using Webflow, implementing SEO best practices

Marketing operations

  • Support the execution of multi-channel growth campaigns for lead generation

  • Help build and maintain the attribution and reporting layer (UTMs, CRM source fields, AI-powered reports) so we always know what's working

  • Pitch and follow up with podcasts and press; activate every placement when it lands

  • Build agent-assisted workflows that take our best content further: a podcast becomes a carousel, a report becomes a campaign cluster, a case study becomes a sales asset

  • Assist with logistics, pre-event marketing, invite curation, on-site execution and post-event content for our flagship industrial events and founder gatherings

Founders support

  • Help founders across our studio ship marketing assets with the same craft and tooling we use internally, from positioning copy to launch campaigns

  • Contribute to cross-portfolio initiatives so good work compounds across our community

Who you'll work with

You report directly to our Head of Marketing, your primary collaborator and reviewer. You'll work closely with the Partners who lead our public voice, with our industrial community, and with the founders we co-build with. You'll have real ownership over our daily content engine and our weekly publishing cadence.

What success looks like

At 30 days: You're up and running on our content engine, you've shipped your first newsletter, and you've drafted partner content that's landed without major edits.

At 90 days: You're holding our weekly publishing rhythm, you've co-owned at least one monthly campaign end-to-end, and you've built or improved at least one AI-assisted workflow the team uses daily.

At 6 months: Our marketing engine runs smoothly thanks to your work. We have clean attribution data, a content cadence we can rely on, and a body of work we're proud to point to.
